Atlanta rapper Young Thug will now go by the name “SEX,” according to a couple of tweets he sent on Monday (February 19).
“I’m changing my name to SEX … For now on call me SEX!!!,” Young Thug wrote.
It’s unclear where the motivation for the name change came from and if it’s only a temporary change or a joke.
Regardless, this isn’t the first time Thugger has attempted a new stage name. In 2016, prior to the release of his Jeffery mixtape, the rapper temporarily changed his name to No, My Name Is Jeffery. The name change lasted for roughly one week.
So I guess we'll have to wait and see. What do you think?
