San Diego State University will be offering a course on the legendary Queen of Tejano Music, Selena Quintanilla. The course will be called, "Selena and Latin-X Media Representation." The first class will begin in Spring of 2020, “The course explores & deconstructs the socio-cultural mediated representations of intersectional Latinx identities by analyzing the music, career & influence” of Selena Quintanilla.
