New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand is launching her campaign after announcing last week she's running for President as a Democrat in 2020. At a rally in New York City just outside Trump International Hotel yesterday, Gillibrand pushed her "Brave Wins" slogan. She called millions of Americans brave for speaking out against the Trump administration's "cruelty against women, Muslims, the LGBT community, and children at our borders." She also praised the survivors of school shootings and sexual assault survivors for being brave and speaking out. Ahead of Gillibrand's speech, a number of guest speakers took the podium, including actress Connie Britton, anti-sexual assault activists, LGBT rights leaders, gun safety advocates and Dreamer and immigrant rights activists.
