Cardi B isn’t new to receiving flack for her outspokenness and her recent commentary wasn’t any different. After the recent Florida mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida last week, many people sent condolences to the victims.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper chimed in with her two cents on the matter. She told her younger audience on Instagram that the way to prevent school shootings is to be nice to children who may not fit in.
The Bronx native said, “The school shooter is never the jock, the cheerleader.. its always the kid that’s a little bit socially awkward.” She continued, “the best way to prevent these kinds of tragedies is to stop picking on these kids, stop bullying these kids. If you see a kid that’s not like you, compliment them… stop picking on these kids.”
