Attorney Luis Cortes Romero took to social media to share a heart gripping moment between his mother and his grandparents. He decided to surprise his mother by reuniting her with her parents after three decades of not seeing each other. Her parents had been in Mexico, and Romero's mother could not visit because of their immigration status.
Romero also shared that when he went to law school he vowed to figure out a way to reunite them. It is beautiful to see he was able to get them their visas and bring his mother and grandparents back together after so long.
The story is even more inspiring to know that attorney Luis Cortes Romero is a DACA recipient and was one of the lawyers defending DACA at the Supreme Court.
