Often after someone becomes popular or famous, their name rises on the Popular Babies Name List. This year there was a huge surge in Hip Hop Names!
The name Chance saw a 21 percent boost! Kendrick saw a 9 percent increase and the name Jay also jumped a bit more. The name Dre also increased by 40%!
Baby Center also saw an increase in the name Lebron and Kyrie. Lebron jumped 64%!
As for girls the name Moana had a big increase after the popular Disney movie.
