With just a few days away from Logic's third studio album, EVERYBODY, coming May 5th, he dropped "1-800-273-8255" featuring Alessia Cara and Khalid. That number is the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, it was made, "for all of you who are in a dark place and can’t seem to find the light." I think it's refreshing to see an artist tackle this almost hidden topic that so many people go through. Depression and suicidal thoughts are real and I want to thank Logic for shedding some light on it. Can't wait to see what other gems Logic cooked up on this project! Logic has also shared that in a lot of this album, he is not speaking on his own perspective. In his recent interview with Hard Knock TV, Logic breaks down why he felt this was necessary, plus working on "1-800-273-8255" with Alessia and Khalid. Peep the interview above.
Do you suffer from depression or suicidal thoughts? If so, you are not alone. Maybe, it feels as though no one cares and understands you but we all go through depression, you are not alone. I don't know what you're personally going through but I've had my share of dark times and fight everyday to see the light in the next day. I get it, it sucks and it isn't always easy but you can't give up. A man whom I call my Angel on this earth once told me, "Don't find a permanent solution to a temporary problem". Lastly, I hope you stay strong and fight through. If you need to talk you can dial 1-800-273-8255 or feel free to reach out to me.
Sending you a big hug, love and light. God bless!
