CEO OF UBER CAUGHT ON TAPE ARGUING WITH AN UBER DRIVER Times are hard, just ask Travis Kalanick the CEO of Uber whom I bet is regretting backing up Trump right about now. A video surfaced of Travis and an Uber driver getting into an argument over the decline in Uber shares. It starts with one of the females that is in the car when she says, she heard that Uber is having a hard year. To which Travis responds, “I make sure every year is a hard year.” He continues, “That’s kind of how I roll. I make sure every year is a hard year. If it’s easy I’m not pushing hard enough.” Well that got the Uber driver, Fawzi Kamel’s attention and the two got into a heated argument. Kamel says to Kalanick, that he went bankrupt because of Kalanick and that people don’t trust him. Lets just say Travis wasn’t acting like the CEO of a company and came off as a rude careless jerk. Kalanick later apologized to Kamel for treating him disrespectfully. “To say that I am ashamed is an extreme understatement,” Kalanick wrote. “My job as your leader is to lead…and that starts with behaving in a way that makes us all proud. That is not what I did, and it cannot be explained away. It’s clear this video is a reflection of me—and the criticism we’ve received is a stark reminder that I must fundamentally change as a leader and grow up. This is the first time I’ve been willing to admit that I need leadership help and I intend to get it.” Are you still using Uber?
