As we know Jay-Z does NOT stick to just music, he's got his hands in everything! From Fashion to Sports and now on to movies! Jay-Z is teaming up with Broadway star Lin-Manuel Miranda who created "Hamilton" to bring Lin's first musical "In the Heights" to the big screen. "In the Heights" opened on Broadway in 2008 and it ran for a few years and the traveling cast toured all over the world! Now it's time to take it to the Big Screen!
"In the Heights" is one of my favorite musicals and when it was in LA I saw it three times! I know musicals aren't everyones thing but the story they tell is truly inspiring and beautiful! There was a rumor that Jennifer Lopez was involved with the movie version but that was a few years ago, maybe she'll still be involved.
