New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson has revealed details about a "medical emergency" that has kept him off the field. In a social media update on Friday (November 6), Henderson shared that he was hospitalized for several days due to "unexplained neurological symptoms," according to a report from Yahoo Sports.

Henderson missed the Patriots' Week 8 game against Miami and will be absent again when the team faces the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. He explained that his symptoms have affected his strength, coordination, and some physical functions. Despite undergoing extensive medical testing, the cause of his condition remains unknown. However, the results have been "positive and reassuring."

Henderson, a second-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, is working with specialists and physical therapists to aid his recovery. "I am committed to doing everything necessary to return to full health," he said in his statement, as reported by 98.5 The Sports Hub.

In his rookie season, Henderson rushed for 911 yards and scored nine touchdowns, earning a nomination for the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year. This season, he has recorded 203 yards and one touchdown in six games.

Henderson expressed gratitude to his wife, family, the Patriots organization, and his medical team for their support. He also asked for privacy as he focuses on his health and recovery. WTVR reports that Henderson's situation has led to speculation about his mental health, but it is clear he is dealing with a neurological disorder.
