Rapper French Montana is reaching out to support a New York cab driver whose vehicle was damaged during the celebrations of the Knicks' NBA Championship victory on Saturday night (June 13). The Knicks' win over the San Antonio Spurs marked their first championship in 53 years, sparking wild celebrations in the city.

A viral video captured fans climbing and stomping on the taxi, leaving the driver, Noureddine Bitat, standing helplessly beside his wrecked cab. The incident caught the attention of French Montana, who took to social media platforms like X and Instagram to ask for help in locating the driver. "Somebody find him for me so we can help him get back on his feet," French wrote on X.

In response, the New York Taxi Workers Alliance confirmed that Bitat is a member of their union and offered to connect him with French Montana. The rapper, along with his friend Zachery Dereniowski, has launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise $25,000 to assist Bitat in recovering from the loss and getting back on the road.

The Knicks' victory celebration is set to continue with an official championship parade in New York City on Thursday (June 18). Meanwhile, French Montana, a longtime Knicks fan, recently collaborated with Max B and Remy Ma on the "Ever Since U Left Me (Knicks Edition)" remix, celebrating the team's playoff journey.
