"Started from the bottom," and now he's made history.
Earlier this month, Drake surprised fans by dropping three new LPs at the same time: Iceman, Habibti and Maid of Honour. With that, he's become the first artist to hold the top three spots on the Billboard 200 in the same week since it began publishing consistently in 1956, per Billboard.
In addition, the "Started from the Bottom" rapper broke a tie with Michael Jackson for most No. 1 singles among solo male artists on the Billboard Hot 100, with his new single, "Janice STFU," reaching the top spot
The Grammy winner teased the release of Iceman by commissioning a giant ice sculpture in downtown Toronto, with the album's premiere date hidden inside. On April 21, a determined fan chipped away at the ice until he found a blue bag, which ultimately revealed May 15 as the album release date.
The trio of new albums are the rapper's first solo works since his eighth studio album, 2023's For All the Dogs, and notably the first since his ongoing heated feud with Kendrick Lamar.
