"Yeah, boyyyye!"

Flavor Flav gave a passionate speech at the Clark County Commission meeting on Tuesday (May 19) to advocate for the approval of his "SHE Weekend" parade in Las Vegas, honoring female Olympians. However, things didn't go according to plan as the Sin City rapper began to address the commissioners.

"I just wanted to say thank you for giving me the opportunity and I'm honored to be able to bring these United States Olympic athletes here to Las Vegas," the musician began his speech. "I am a girl dad and big supporter of women's sports."

Suddenly, commissioner Michael Naft interjected. "I'm sorry to interrupt you," Naft chuckled. "My colleagues are reminding me that we need your name for the record."

As the room began laughing, the Public Enemy founder replied, "Oh, I'm sorry! My name is Flavor Flav, William Drayton." Watch the hilarious moment here, at the 2:40 mark.

Ultimately, the Clark County Commission approved Flav's "SHE Weekend" event, which will run July 16-19. The "Fight the Power" icon took to his Instagram to share the good news following the meeting.

"Attention! This is Flavor Flav in the building. Yo, SHE Weekend just got approved officially today by the commissioner, boyyyye!"
