Ye's India Show Halted As Security Concerns Grow

Ye's long-awaited India concert is no longer moving forward as planned.

The New Delhi show, scheduled for May 23 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, has been suspended due to security concerns.

White Fox, the concert's organizer, announced the cancelation on Friday, May 15, following warnings from government and police officials about a high-alert situation in the capital city.

The concert was set to be one of the biggest live productions ever planned in India, but safety concerns ultimately took precedence. White Fox shared its disappointment in an Instagram statement, emphasizing that the decision came after months of preparation.

"We are deeply disheartened to announce that Ye Live in India, scheduled for 23rd May 2026 in New Delhi, has been officially postponed following security advisories and directives issued by officials in light of the high-alert situation in the capital," the post stated.

The organizer continued, "After months of planning and preparation for what was set to become one of the largest live productions ever attempted in India, the safety and well-being of attendees and the citizens of India remains the highest priority. We fully respect and are cooperating with the guidance issued by officials during this sensitive time."

According to TMZ, the concert had already been postponed from March 29 due to rising geopolitical tensions. Organizers are now discussing a possible reschedule for October, and in the meantime, ticket holders will receive full refunds.

The suspension adds to a series of setbacks for Ye's international touring efforts. His recent UK festival appearance was canceled, and a planned show in France was also suspended for similar reasons. Despite these challenges, White Fox remains hopeful the concert can take place in India at a later date.
