Stefon Diggs is reportedly trying to make his relationship with Cardi B work months after the pair split earlier this year.
Rumors have circulated recently that the New England Patriots player and the "Bodak Yellow" rapper, who welcomed a son in November 2025, have reunited following reports that they have been spending time together publicly. Now, a source tells People that Diggs and Cardi have moved past some of the "drama" in their relationship.
"Cardi pulled away from the drama in February," the insider said. "She didn't trust him and felt like things were going on behind her back. She wasn't in a place emotionally to deal with fighting and tension."
The source claimed that Bardi "never closed the door completely" on her relationship with the NFL star and that Diggs "stepped it up a few weeks ago and showed her he wants to make it work." They added that the move was "enough of an effort to get her attention" and that "she still cares about him a lot."
Diggs and Bardi reportedly split in February after more than a year together following his team's loss against the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX. She seemingly confirmed the breakup during a tour stop and later sparked speculation that she dissed him during another show. The rapper later hit back at the claims, calling her remarks "a lil razzle dazzle" to introduce a song and that it wasn't a "personal" shot at her ex.
In addition to her son with Diggs, Cardi also shares three kids — Kulture, Wave and Blossom — with estranged husband Offset, who she filed for divorce from in July 2024. The process has not been finalized.
