Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo gave a message on his future after his team's 126-106 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers to end the 2025-26 NBA season.

"That's a very good question," Antetokounmpo said when asked if Sunday (April 12) was his last game in a Bucks uniform via ESPN. "I don't know. It's not up to me. We'll see."

The two-time NBA MVP didn't hide his frustration after Milwaukee finished 11th in the Eastern Conference, missing the play-in game by 11 games.

"I feel like sometimes people just don't listen," Antetokounmpo said via ESPN. "They listen to the sources. The main source is me. It is what it is. So again, do not disturb on my phone, go about my day, improve, and come back better."

Antetokounmpo, 31, who spent his entire career with the Bucks and led the franchise to its first NBA championship in 50 years, reportedly pushed back against the team's decision to shut him down last month due to his hyperextended knee diagnosis, sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed to ESPN's Shams Charania. The former NBA champion missed a career-high 42 games during an injury-plagued 2025-26 season.

Antetokounmpo averaged 27.6 points, 9.8 rebounds and 5.4 assists during the 2025-26 season. The Bucks finished with a 32-50 record, with head coach Doc Rivers departing from the team after three seasons.
