Remy Ma is hitting back at claims Papoose reportedly made about being a ghostwriter on songs from her iconic catalog.

On Friday, April 10, the New York native dropped her new track, "W.Y.F.L" produced by DJ MAC and CrashDummy. On the track, Remy immediately puts her foot on her haters' necks by calling out her competitors. She doesn't address her estranged husband by name on the song, but fans are smart enough to know who she's referring to in her gritty bars.

“The nerve of n***as claiming they wrote those hits/When they whole career they ain’t never ghost wrote s**t," she raps.

"Not for me or anybody else/You always act like you helped a n***a, go help yourself!” she continues.

Remy Ma dropped the song amid her ongoing issues with her ex Papoose. The couple was together for over a decade and welcomed a daughter in 2018. After making music and reality TV shows together, Remy and Pap called it quits in 2024 amid rumors of infidelity. The two artists publicly beefed on social media several times before Papoose filed for divorce in 2025. In the midst of their feud, Papoose ruffled Remy's feathers after he claimed to have been a ghostwriter on some of her songs. While he was on Instagram Live last year, Pap said he wrote "90 percent of the rhymes that came out of her mouth since I met her."

Soon after they split, Pap went public with his romantic relationship with boxer Claressa Shields. The couple has been together for two years and have reportedly discussed starting a family together. Remy Ma also had some shots for Shields on her new song.

“In competition with herself, I don't know that b***h/Hoes be doing the most over so-so d**k," she raps. "Wanna be a baddie but you not bad enough."
