Offset is doing better after he was shot outside of a casino amid his beef with Lil Tjay.

The former Migos rapper issued a statement on Friday, April 10, after he was released from a hospital in Hollywood, Fla. In it, he thanked everyone who checked in on him while he was receiving treatment for his gunshot wound.

“Thank you to everyone who’s checked in on me and showed me love! I’m good….but I’m planning to be better!" he wrote. "I’m focused on my family, my recovery, and getting back to the music…realizing that life is made up of quiet wins and loud losses…. Life’s a gamble and I’m still playing to win.”

"Offset has been released from the hospital and he is up and walking," his rep said. "We’re incredibly grateful to the doctors, nurses, and the entire hospital staff who took such great care of him."

Offset was shot in the leg during a fight that unfolded outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. According to the Seminole Police Department, security footage shows Lil Tjay jumping out of a car and pointing at Offset. They alleged Tjay "directed members of his party to start a fight with another group of males" at the hotel lobby's valet area. After Tjay led his team over to Offset, both sides began fighting each other until cops arrived. During the scuffle, someone from Tjay's crew pulled out a gun and shot Offset.

Lil Tjay was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. He bonded out of the Broward County main jail in Fort Lauderdale and immediately called Offset a "rat." He also denied the allegations against him and maintained that Offset didn't touch him. Shortly after his comments spread, the Atlanta rapper responded in the comment section of The Shade Room Teens' post about the situation.

"U ain't buss nun," Offset wrote.

While he was in the hospital, Offset's ex-wife Cardi B reportedly called to check on him. The former couple were together for seven years and share three children. They split up in 2024, and Cardi filed for divorce last year. As of this report, their divorce has not yet been finalized.
