Gucci Mane has broken his silence about some of the allegations against Pooh Shiesty, BIG30, and the other co-defendants in his new song.
On Friday, April 10, the 1017 founder shared how he really feels about his signee on his new song "Crash Dummy" produced by Zaytoven. Gucci cuts right to the chase by dissing Pooh Shiesty and BIG30 at the beginning of his first verse.
"Tell the truth, you went out like a real crash dummy/And after all that, boy, you still signed to me," Gucci raps. "I'm like Birdman and, n***a, this my Cash Money/And your fat ass flunkie, he a stone cold junkie."
"I thought it was a business meeting, but it was a set up," he continues. "I walk in the room, you can feel the pressure building/N***a dapped me up, the whole time they plotting against me (Well damn)."
Gucci Mane doesn't mince words as he refers to the alleged kidnapping and robbery that went down in January. In his verse, the Atlanta native says he "pulled up on business" when he met with Pooh and his crew at a recording studio in Dallas. According to the Department of Justice, Pooh led Gucci and his two associates into a room to discuss the terms of his record deal. Moments later, Pooh pulled out an AK-style weapon and allegedly forced Gucci to make him sign a document to get him out of his record deal.
"A n***a set up the play, like Suge Knight did with Dre/But I ain't Eazy-E, n***a, and this ain't back in the day," Gucci spits. "Pressure on my chest, but I still ain't pressed/Pen to the paper, but it's under duress/Read between the lines, I don't settle for less."
Pooh Shiesty reportedly had his father, Lontrell Williams, Sr., in the room along with six others, who allegedly robbed Gucci and his associates of their cash, jewelry, and other valuables. BIG30 stood at the door so that no one could leave. Gucci also included some jabs about Pooh's dad, and called BIG30 a "fat ass flunkie" and "a stone cold junkie."
"They smile in your face, then they stab you in your back/You learn from your daddy, so I guess that it's hereditary/I'm that same n***a that put money on your commissary," Gucci raps.
Pooh Shiesty, his dad, BIG30, and their other co-defendants were arrested last week in Memphis and Texas following the FBI's three-month investigation. They alleged Pooh Shiesty and his dad orchestrated the kidnapping and robbery in advance. They also claim one of Gucci's associates was choked out during the robbery, and some of the defendants flashed off the stolen items on social media after the incident.
Pooh's attorneys questioned the FBI's allegations and emphasized that they have no evidence connecting their client to the alleged crimes. Nonetheless, the Memphis native did not receive bond and will remain behind bars for now.
