Isaiah Rashad is finally ready to deliver his long-awaited fourth album.
On Tuesday, April 7, the TDE signee shared a trailer which reveals the title and release date for his forthcoming album, It's Been Awful. In the clip, the Tennessee native hobbles through a field full of cows with bloody cuts on his face and more blood on his t-shirt. He eventually falls to the ground and examines his wounds before two shadowy women surround him. The final scene shows him lifeless in the field while the album's title and release date appear right next to him.
It's Been Awful is Isaiah Rashad's first album in five years. He made waves with his previous LP, The House Is Burning, featuring an all-star lineup of features including Lil Uzi Vert, SZA, Smino, 6LACK, Jay Rock and others. Since then, the 34-year-old artist has only done collaborations with the likes of Kal Banx, Ray Vaughn, and Kembe X.
Before the video dropped, Isaiah Rashad received plenty of support from his labelmates and fans alike. Artists like ScHoolboy Q, Doechii, Terrence "Punch" Henderson, SiR, Az Chike, and others posted the album's title to social media. He also shared some subliminal posts to his Instagram Stories. After sharing the album title, Rashad posted a cryptic message for his fans.
"Everybody wanna see you Crash out, fall off and burn out all for their entertainment," the message says. "I just wanna see you smile..."
