Yeat's long-awaited double album has finally arrived.
On Thursday night, March 26, the California native delivered his sixth studio album ADL via Field Trip Recordings/Capitol Records. ADL, which stands for A Dangerous Lyfe / A Dangerous Love, comes with 21 songs in total featuring Elton John, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Kid Cudi, Swizz Beatz, Don Toliver, BNYX, 070 Shake, Joji, Julia Wolf, and King Kylie aka Kylie Jenner. Yeat aims to change the game with his latest body of work. In addition to recruiting collaborators from all sides of the music spectrum, the multifaceted artist strays away from the lo-fi beats he came up on to create something even more unique.
Yeat has spent the past few months hyping up the album with some clever marketing campaigns. He recently hung fake, tatted-up arms with the index fingers chopped off from the trunks of several yellow cabs in New York City. Below the faux arm was a bumper sticker that says "Lyfe is DANGEROUS."
The 26-year-old rapper first teased ADL in 2024 along with his previous LP Lyfestyle. He originally planned to drop both of them in the same year, but only followed through with Lyfestyle. His previous LP holds 22 tracks including collaborations with Lil Durk, Kodak Black and more.
Yeat's collaboration with Don Toliver, "Griddle," appears at the top of iHeartRadio's Rap Rising playlist. The weekly round-up of fresh rap hits also features new music from Central Cee, Juvenile, Chief Keef, and more. Stream the playlist above and scroll below for more new music.
