Latto is feeding into the viral conspiracies about her in a mysterious teaser for her next big move.
On Thursday, March 19, the Atlanta native shared a trailer for something she's releasing at midnight tonight. In the clip, Latto appears from her knees to her toes as she walks toward a baby cheetah. After she stands in front of the young animal, the "Big Energy" rapper bends over to feed it a bottle of milk while flashing off a massive diamond on her ring finger.
"I ain't go missing, I had to give y'all time to miss me," Latto begins.
"Before you run the game, you gotta take baby steps to got the distance," she continues. "Home to the studio, studio back home. Listening to every beat, feeling every kick. Ever since I was a little girl, I always dreamed of having my own. Big Mama but this time the stakes way bigger. Now it's on me to deliver."
The video ends with a pulsating heartbeat. Based on the context clues and her interaction with the baby cheetah, fans are convinced that Latto is getting ready to announce her pregnancy. People think that Latto has been silent lately because she's expecting her first child. The rumors about her pregnancy began in October after fans spotted what they believed to be a baby bump while she was onstage in Japan. At the time, Latto dismissed the rumors and claimed she simply ate too much Japanese food.
"I ate tew much wagyu & ramen," she wrote in her caption.
Her announcement comes months after Latto finally acknowledged 21 Savage as her boyfriend. The two did everything they could to keep their relationship a secret for the past few years. However, fans were able to use several obvious clues, like their matching name tattoos and subliminal song lyrics, to solve the mystery about their love lives. The couple has not fully embraced their relationship on social media. Nonetheless, Latto was glad to refer to 21 as her man during a run-in with TMZ last year.
