A video of Pro Football Hall of Famer Peyton Manning's son Marshall throwing a football has gone viral.
Marshall, 14, who is set to begin his high school freshman year at Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, attended a 7-on-7 event in Murfreesboro and was recorded throwing a perfect pass to a receiver in a video shared by PrepRedzoneTN and On3's Shayne Pickering.
"Baylor (TN) quarterback Marshall Manning has shown good velocity and anticipation the entire day today He has taken another step forward into his development and will be an exciting young QB for Baylor to build around," Pickering wrote on his X account.
Marshall enrolled at Baylor School, which runs from grades 6 through 12, as an eighth grader last year and could could potentially being eligible for the 2030 national recruiting cycle instead of 2029, the Chattanooga Times Free Press' Stephen Hargis reported on July 18. The private school is one of the best high school sports programs in Tennessee, having "won more TSSAA state championships than any other school," according to its website.
"While we do not comment on individual students out of respect for their privacy, I can say that we are welcoming an exceptional group of new students who will be joining a vibrant and dynamic student body. At Baylor, we are committed to providing every student with the opportunity to thrive and make the most of their experience," head of school Chris Angel told the Chattanooga Times Free Press at the time.
Peyton Manning has strong ties to the state of Tennessee dating back to his College Football Hall of Fame career at the University of Tennessee, where he finished with 42 NCAA, SEC and school records prior to a Hall of Fame NFL career.
