Former New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll is reportedly set to be hired by the Tennessee Titans as their new offensive coordinator if he's not hired as the Las Vegas Raiders' head coach, sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

"ESPN sources: The Titans are now set to hire former Giants head coach Brian Daboll as their offensive coordinator, contingent upon him not getting the Raiders head coaching job," Schefter wrote on his X account.

Daboll, 50, will be tasked with developing former No. 1 overall quarterback Cam Ward on a Titans staff led by recently hired head coach Robert Saleh, who had previously coached the New York Jets from 2021 to 2024 before serving as the San Francisco 49ers' defensive coordinator, a position he had previously held from 2017 to 2020.

Daboll was fired on November 10, hours after the Giants' 24-20 loss to the Chicago Bears, which saw them blow a 20-10 fourth quarter lead and rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart sustain a concussion after previously being evaluated on three separate occasions since taking over as a starter. The Giants had previously lost rookie running back Cam Skattebo and second-year wide receiver Malik Nabers to season-ending injuries in 2024.

Daboll was hired by the Giants in 2022 and won the Associated Press NFL Coach of the Year award during his first season, leading New York to a 9-7-1 record and its only postseason berth of his tenure. The Giants finished with a 6-11 record in 2023 and a 3-14 record in 2024, having lost four consecutive games since their Thursday Night Football upset of the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles on October 9, with Daboll going 2-8 prior to his firing.
