Denzel Curry has joined forces with several major artists to form a new supergroup.

On Thursday, January 22, the Miami native announced the launch of Hip-Hop's newest supergroup, The Scythe. The group consists of Curry, TiaCorine, Bktherula, FERG, and Key Nyata. Along with the announcement, the group also revealed the cover for its debut album, Strictly 4 The Scythe, confirmed the release date, and shared the first single. Curry and Bktherula teamed up with LAZER DIM 700 for "LIT EFFECT" produced by BYNX.

“The Scythe is a family and a group," Curry says. "We still have our respective solo careers, but when we come together, it's The Scythe.”

"We bout to have one of the best albums this year and it’s only 8 tracks," Curry added on X.

The album is set to drop via Loma Vista Recordings in March. You can expect to hear rare collaborations with Juicy J, Rich the Kid, Luh Tyler, 1900Rugrat, Smino, and more.

The Scythe's album will be Denzel Curry's project since his 2024 album King Of The Mischievous South. His previous project was the album version of his 2012 mixtape that helped skyrocket his career. His album includes the original tracklist plus five fresh songs, including “STILL IN THE PAINT,” featuring Bktherula and LAZER DIM 700, “HOT ONE” featuring FERG and TiaCorine, “ULTRA SHXT” featuring Key Nyata, and “GOT ME GEEKED.”
