Fivio Foreign is calling out 21 Savage over his status in the streets, and 21 is firing back online.
It all started after the New York rapper questioned 21's street cred during an interview Akademiks posted on Thursday, January 22. During the discussion, Fivio asked Ak what makes 21 a "street n***a" after he started his "F**k The Streets" movement last year.
"What's making you think that Savage is a street n***ga? He said f**k the streets," Fivio asked. "Street n***a where? In Atlanta?...Them n***gas is all cap. You understand? Trust me. It's all show."
It didn't take long for 21 Savage to respond to Fivio. During an Instagram Live session, the Atlanta-based rapper told the "City of Gods" rapper to keep his name out of his mouth.
"Fivio Foreign, shut your b***h ass up, n***a," 21 said. "Stop saying my muthaf**kin name... If your ass 35 or older, and you've been trying to rap since you were Goddamn 17, 16, 15, don't say nothing to me about the street. You don't know nothing about the street, you ain't did nothing in the street. Straight up."
"Don't think ’cause Savage on some positive s**t, that it's 'Oh, let's talk about Savage every day,'" he added. "Nah, this ain't that. Y'all n***as will still get y'all ass whooped. Straight up."
21 continued to go in on Fivio by writing in his Instagram Stories, "ALL the rappers who beat up women think they tough now." The shot was a reference to the time when Fivio Foreign was arrested for allegedly beating the mother of his kid in 2020. Fivio responded by posting a clip of Latto's infamous freestyle when she rapped that if Fivio wanted to have sex with her, she wouldn't pass on him.
Latto wasn't about to let that slide. She immediately took to her Instagram Stories and clarified that Fivio never hit it. "Spoiler alert: it was strictly to go viral he never f**ked... top 5 freshman freestyles 6 yrs later tho clock it."
Fivio Foreign was one of the first artists to speak out against 21 Savage's "F*** the streets" movement. He joined the likes of Blueface, Boosie Badazz and others who weren't trying to let go of the street life.
