Mary J. Blige will celebrate her legacy when she hits the stage for her first-ever residency in Las Vegas.
On Monday, January 12, the veteran Hip-Hop/Soul singer announced the dates for "Mary J. Blige: My Life, My Story" at Dolby Live inside Park MGM. in Las Vegas. During her interview with "The TODAY Show," Blige said the show will be a completely new experience for her day-one fans.
“It’s going to be done more theatrical,” she said. “It’s still going to have the music, it’s still going to be fun — but it’s a story so there’s going to be actors and actresses."
"So the music tells the story," she continued. "I have so many songs I haven’t performed yet for my fans... The actors are going to narrate the music.”
Mary J. Blige will kick off her residency on May 1 and will perform on select days between May 2 and May 9. She will continue the show again the weekend of July 10 and continue until July 18. Her residency comes after the multifaceted artist wrapped up her "For My Fans Tour" with NE-YO and Mario. Blige hit up major cities across the country from late 2024 into 2025.
