A$AP Rocky is back with another outrageous music video for his brand-new single.
On Monday, January 12, the Harlem native shared the music video for his new song "Helicopter$." The video game-inspired visuals begin with a mini helicopter flying into a building with Rocky's crew as they scheme on their next money move, while Rocky gets his hair placed into rollers. It continues with scenes of Rocky in front of a fleet of helicopters before it goes into a room with a group of naked women preparing his upcoming album. That's when we see Rocky and crew training for what's coming up next.
After rolling past some questionable S.W.A.T. team members, Rocky takes us to a rooftop where a massive party ensues, and everyone waves their shirts in the air like a helicopter — word to Petey Pablo. "Helicopter$" is the latest banger to get an eye-popping video treatment. Last week, Rocky kicked off the week by debuting his rebellious visuals for "Punk Rocky" starring Winona Ryder. Both songs arrived ahead of his forthcoming album Don't Be Dumb.
A$AP Rocky's fourth studio album is set to drop this Friday. It's the father of three's first full-length project in eight years following his previous LP Testing. Right before the holidays, Rocky debuted the official album cover created by himself and director Tim Burton. Rocky hasn't shared a tracklist just yet, but it's possible that previously released songs like "Tailor Swif," "HIGHJACK" and "pray4dagang" might not appear on the final version of the album.
