IDK and Pusha T have reunited for a fresh collaboration, and it's got the streets talking.
On Friday, January 9, the London-born, Maryland-raised rapper delivered his new song "LiFE 4 A LiFE." Produced by KAYTRANADA & Eden Eliah Nagar, IDK offers a perspective from someone whose mindset was molded while in survival mode, and proves growth is possible for those who grew up in rough environments. In an interview with Clash, IDK said he made the song with the Clipse rapper in mind. He recalled how he got Push's verse right before he and his brother, Malice, dropped their comeback album Let God Sort Em Out.
"[Pusha T] told me he was in, and I let it live without pressure," IDK explained. "A few months later, right before he released the Clipse album Let God Sort Em Out, he called me. After the call, he sent me a photo of his handwritten verse, then asked for my email and where to send it."
Pusha T previously collaborated with IDK and JID on "Porno" from his 2019 LP Is He Real? The duo's latest joint effort is set to appear on IDK's forthcoming mixtape, E.T.D.S. – Even the Devil Smiles. His first project of the year will feature production by Madlib, No I.D., Joey Valence & Brae, Ratboy, Goldie, and Conductor Williams. It
