Tyler, the Creator Takes Fans Behind The Scenes Of 'Marty Supreme'

Tyler, the Creator is giving fans a glimpse into his role in Oscar-nominated film, Marty Supreme.

On Instagram, the rapper shared several behind-the-scenes photos from the movie, which is directed by Josh Safdie and starring Timothée Chalamet, and opened on Christmas Day. The movie quickly became A24's second-biggest opening week, earning $28.3 million at the domestic box office.

Tyler shared of his Marty Supreme experience, "MARTY SUPREME IN THEATERS NOW, GLUE YOUR EYES OPEN. what a time. thank you thank you josh. started shooting this movie same week CHROMAKOPIA came out. what a blast. I love jumping head first into something new. not being good not being bad just raw newness. go see it on the big screen, dont save this watch for a couch and phone distractions, go outside. big love to the whole team s*** big silly. wally."

For his role, Tyler plays a taxi driver named Wally in the sports comedy-drama. The two-time Grammy winner shared how he managed to balance filming with promoting his album CHROMAKOPIA, despite facing challenges like cold weather and lack of sleep. "It's for the love of this game," Tyler told said in an interview, describing his dedication to the project.

The film features Tyler in various scenes, including one with a bloodied nose and a humorous selfie with co-star Chalamet. Tyler's enthusiasm for trying something new and his appreciation for the team involved in Marty Supreme shines through in his reflections.
