Yung Miami rallied up some of her famous friends to help give kids in need a Christmas they deserve.

On Sunday, December 21, the Miami rapper teamed up with Trina, Swurv305, Nia Amber, Loe Shimmy, South Promo, and other local organizations for the 2nd annual Caresha Gives Toy Giveaway at Reverend Samuel Delevoe Memorial Park in Fort Lauderdale. Families were able to drive up to the event and receive gifts, including children's bikes and toy cars, from the South Florida artists. In addition, the kids got to hang out, get some free food, and take some photos with Santa Claus before Christmas.

“Growing up, I know what it feels like when the holidays are heavy and families are doing their best with what they have,” Yung Miami said in a statement. “Caresha Gives is my way of showing love to the kids and letting parents know the community sees them. With prices going up, even a small blessing can take a big weight off a family. We want every child to leave feeling celebrated, supported, and full of joy.”

Yung Miami isn't the only major rap star to help families in need during the holidays. In Atlanta, Offset hosted his 4th Annual Toys 4 The Nawf Christmas Charity in collaboration with the Ann Cephus Family Fund Corporation. The Migos rapper held the event in honor of his late grandmother Ann, who helped influence Offset’s lifelong commitment to community service. Offset was joined by his mother Latabia Woodward, the founder of his family’s non-profit who helped organize the event, and three of his children as they gave out toys to the kids of Gwinnett County.

“I come from a place where people had to lean on each other, and that’s something that’s always stayed with me,” Offset said. “Giving back has been in my heart long before the music — it’s how I was raised, and it’s how I live. I’m proud of what Toys 4 The Nawf has grown into and the families we’ve been able to support over the years. If I’m blessed, then I have a responsibility to pass that blessing on, especially to my community. That’s what this is about for me."
