50 Cent couldn't wait to drag Lil Meech after "BMF" got canceled.
On Wednesday, October 29, Deadline reported that the show, which was inspire by Big Meech's life while coming up with the Black Mafia Family, was canceled by Starz. 50 Cent served as an executive producer of "BMF" and recruited Demetrius Flenory Jr., a.k.a. "Lil Meech," to portray his father Big Meech. However, Fif's relationship with the father-son duo turned sour last year after the rapper accused Big Meech of being a federal informant. After the show was booted from the network, 50 Cent hopped on Instagram to troll Lil Meech.
"What next season, little [ninja emoji]," 50 wrote.
The doctored photo shows Lil Meech holding up a sign that says "out of work." The 25-year-old played the role of his father Big Meech during his days in as a kingpin with the Black Mafia Family in Detroit. "BMF" lasted for four seasons and featured a slew of major rappers in the show from Yung Miami to Snoop Dogg.
According to Deadline, Starz was pleased with the outcome of season four and there were even discussion about the possibility of a fifth season. However, 50 Cent's relationship with the Flenorys began to decline last year after Big Meech got out of prison. Soon after he met up with Big Meech, the rapper accused the Detroit native of being a federal informant. Flenory denied the allegation, but tensions continued to flare up after Big Meech connected with Rick Ross, who's one of 50 Cent's enemies.
50 Cent's strained relationship with Big Meech and Lil Meech didn't play a role in the show's cancellation. However, their beef did cause anxiety among the cast and crew during production of the third and fourth seasons.
