Something from A$AP Rocky is in the works. The rapper recently teased fans with the promise of something new coming "soon," as anticipation builds for his upcoming album, Don't Be Dumb.
Rocky ran into comedian Godfrey while at breakfast, and speaking to the camera, the rapper shared with viewers, "Please be expecting something soon. Watch that."
Godfrey captioned the video, "I was out eating breakfast and I ran into my guy ASAP Rocky. One of the realest dudes in the rap game. My man was looking WAY richer than me! He told me I was his favorite comedian! I told y'all my life was better than yours."
During a recent interview with Numéro Magazine, the Harlem rapper expressed frustration over previous release date announcements, stating he prefers to let the music speak for itself. "One day, you'll wake up and see what's coming up," Rocky said, emphasizing a focus on quality over timing.
Originally slated for release in August 2024, Don't Be Dumb has faced several delays. Rocky has already released singles like "Highjack," "Tailor Swif," "Ruby Rosary," and "Pray4DaGang," giving fans a taste of the album's direction. But, despite the setbacks, including personal commitments and a gun assault case, Rocky remains committed to delivering a standout project.
In addition to his music, Rocky has been busy with other ventures, including collaborations with filmmaker Spike Lee and fashion brand Puma. Meanwhile, his personal life has been eventful, as he and Rihanna recently welcomed their third child. Rocky's focus on family has influenced his creative process, as he balances personal and professional responsibilities.
Fans eagerly await the release of Don't Be Dumb, which promises to showcase Rocky's artistic growth and versatility — and it sounds like they can expect something soon!
