Pooh Shiesty has only been out of prison for two days, and he's already trying to holla at Cardi B.

On Monday, October 6, the Bodega Baddie hopped on Instagram and posted a video of herself rapping to her song "Check Please" from her new album Am I The Drama? The brief clip shows her turning up in the club and throwing money at some dancers at a nightclub. The comment section was already full of positive feedback from fans, including Pooh Shiesty. The Memphis rapper put three words under her video that had people going crazy.

"I love you," he wrote.

Pooh Shiesty had only been free for a few hours before he hopped into Bardi's comment section. The 26-year-old rapper was released from a federal prison in Pennsylvania after serving three years behind bars. Shiesty, born Lontrell D. Williams, was originally sentenced to five years in prison after he pleaded guilty to a firearm conspiracy charge. His charge stemmed from two shootings he was allegedly involved in, one in October 2020 and the other in June 2021.

“I am elated that Pooh has been released after three years,” Drew Findling, Pooh Shiesty’s attorney, told XXL. “The government fought hard to give him 10, but after listening to the case, the judge agreed with us that it was not appropriate and gave him a sentence that resulted in him serving three years. I know he will come back bigger than ever and definitely learned from this experience. He is excited to start the next chapter of his story. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and I think that this is just the beginning of his second act.”

As of this report, Cardi B has not replied to Pooh Shiesty's comment. She's currently taken by her new boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, and is expected to give birth to their first child together.
