Mobb Deep's first album in over a decade is set to feature some powerful collaborations with Hip-Hop's finest.
On Wednesday, September 17, Mobb Deep's Havoc posted the tracklist for the duo's upcoming LP Infinite. The project will contain 15 tracks, including its lead single "Against The World" and other posthumous verses from the late Prodigy, who's also listed as an executive producer. In addition, Mobb Deep is set to collaborate with Nas, who appears on three songs, Big Noyd, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Clipse, Jorja Smith, and H.E.R., over production by Havoc and The Alchemist.
Infinite will be Mobb Deep's first album since Prodigy passed away in 2017. In the years since his musical partner's death, Havoc has lent his production expertise to other major rap projects, including Ye & Ty Dolla $ign's Vultures 2 and 2 Chainz & Lil Wayne's Welcome 2 Collegrove. Over the past few years, Havoc has worked with The Alchemist to complete Mobb Deep's long-awaited album.
Mobb Deep's album was announced as part of Mass Appeal's "Legend Has It" series. The campaign features seven major rap albums, including albums by Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Big L, De La Soul, Slick Rick, Nas & DJ PREMIER. After Slick Rick, Raekwon, and Ghostface Killah dropped their respective projects, The Alchemist announced Mobb Deep's album was completed last month and is ready to hit the streets. Havoc also confirmed the news and spoke on what to expect during his interview with Joe & Jada.
"When it come on, this s**t is scary," Havoc said about the album. "It feel like P here. There's certain little things he's saying that's like he's got this premonition thing going on. It's like that. Just get ready for some dope s**t."
Mobb Deep's Infinite album drops October 10.
