Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce gave a rare insight to his wedding planning with his fiancée, pop superstar Taylor Swift, during the latest episode of his New Heights podcast released on Wednesday (September 17).

Kelce, who hosts the show with his brother, retired former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, discussed his wedding plans with Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon, who asked about the process, to which he responded that prepping for the nuptials was the couple's next step and that wedding planning was "gonna be easy," hinting that the ceremony would take place sometime after the current NFL season.

“I just gotta figure out a football game first,” Kelce said. “[That’s] gonna be easy compared to figuring out how to catch a f**king g**d**n football.”

Kelce then said he and Swift didn't plan to hire a DJ as they were "live music kind of people."

Kelce spoke publicly about his engagement for the first on an episode of New Heights released earlier this month when asked by Jason if there was "something different" now that Swift was his fiancée. The three-time Super Bowl champion acknowledged that he felt a change when he, Swift and his brother all attended the Cincinnati Bearcats' game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers at Arrowhead Stadium on August 28.

“I felt that at the game actually, it was my first time introducing Taylor as my fiancee to a few of my teammates,” Travis said. “Yeah, it was pretty cool. I still get giddy. Exciting times. Still fresh.”

“You gotta know your gal or your significant other,” he added when Jason asked if he had any advice for listeners planning to propose. “And it’s gotta .. you can’t let how somebody else does it make you feel like you need to do it that way.”

Swift announced her engagement in a joint Instagram post with Kelce featuring several photos of the proposal shared on August 26.

"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," she wrote in the caption of the post, which has more than 37 million likes as of Wednesday.

The engagement reportedly took place two weeks prior at a garden at Kelce's home in Lee's Summit, Missouri, his father, Ed, told ABC News 5.
