Dame Dash is not the chairman of REVOLT TV and will not be able to acquire the company despite his recent announcement.

Hours after his explosive interview with The Breakfast Club aired on Tuesday, September 16, the CEO of REVOLT, Detavio Samuels, sent an email to his employees and confirmed that the alleged deal between Dash and the network does not exist. Samuels acknowledged that there were conversations with Dash about potential collaborations, including "things like licensing his shows and films for REVOLT. But there is no signed deal."

"He is not the chairman of our company," Samuels wrote. "There is no acquisition path on the table."

Dash claimed he took on the temporary chairman role during his sit-down with DJ Envy, Charlamgne Tha God, Jess Hilarious and Loren LoRosa. He asserted that he would act as the chairman for one month while debuting content from his AmericaNu Network on the cable television channel. After serving in the role for 30 days, Dash would begin discussions to acquire the network. He repeated the same claims in an exclusive interview with VIBE Magazine and provided them with an alleged quote from Samuels.

"As the CEO of a media company dedicated to Hip Hop culture and the diverse creators and consumers who drive it, it made sense to do business with Dame," Samuels allegedly told the magazine. In his new statement, Samuels said the quote was "completely fabricated."

"The quote from me in VIBE is completely fabricated," Samuels said. "I never said any of that."

Following Samuels' statement, Cam'ron left a stunning comment on The Shade Room's post. He wrote, "You can't say he's lying thru his teeth 🤷🏽‍♂️ he ain't got none. Lying thru ya gums is treacherous lol." Soon after The Breakfast Club posted Dash's interview, LoRosa reported that REVOLT's lead publicist shot down Dash's claims about being the chairman.
