Young Thug has formally apologized to GloRilla after he made disturbing comments about her looks while he was in jail.
On Thursday, September 4, another unreleased phone call between Thugger and his girlfriend, Mariah The Scientist, flooded social media. During the conversation, the Atlanta rapper asked why everyone thinks Big Glo is pretty and followed up by saying she's "ugly as f**k." Once his comments quickly spread throughout the Internet, Thug quickly reached out to Glo on X and offered a sincere apology.
"First of all I’m sorry to u for my words and I honestly don’t think ur ugly at all," Thug wrote.
"I was speaking from jail just having a hard time with life.. I don’t like bashing girls and hardly ever did.. I’m sorry to u twin," he concluded.
GloRilla didn't respond directly to Thug, however, she did appear to reference the situation in an X post right before he posted his apology. "Mind you dis da same n***a blowing my phone up to ask what color my eyes is lmaooo," Glo wrote. Shortly after Thug mentioned her, Glo tried to divert the attention away from her by celebrating Beyoncé's birthday.
"Dis is BEYONCÉ’S DAY, we not making dis about me okayyyyyyyyyy???????????" she wrote.

GloRilla isn't tripping about what people think of her looks. If anything, her only concern is what her alleged new boo, Brandon Ingram, thinks. Earlier this week, the NBA star and the "TGIF" rapper appeared to confirm they are a couple following months of speculation. Both celebrities recently posted photos together within a carousel of images they shared on Instagram.
Meanwhile, GloRilla plans to hit the stage at this year's iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas. Fans can tune in to the annual two-day mega music event as the festival will be broadcast live each night via iHeartMedia radio stations throughout the country across more than 150 markets. Hulu will be the Official Streaming Destination of the festival, with performances livestreamed each night exclusively to all Hulu subscribers.
