Offset is praising Drake for uplifting Migos and helping them stack up cash with their popular collaborations.
On Friday, August 22, the Nelk Boys dropped the latest episode of their Full Send podcast featuring the Atlanta native. During their conversation, Offset was asked about his relationship with the Grammy Award-winning rapper and the number of songs they've made together. Drake and the Migos have several major hits together, including "Versace (Remix)," "Walk It Talk It," and "Having Our Way." The former Migos rapper saluted Drizzy for hopping on their songs without charging the trio and splitting the profits evenly.
“[Drake] always showed love," Offset said. "Always pulled up to the video shoots, all that s**t. Don’t make it a hassle, don’t be charging n***as, nothing."
“A lot of artists his size would bully the record,” he continued. “Like, ‘I’ma do it, but I want all the publishing, all of it.’ He ain’t do none of that s**t. Like, equal splits.”
Drake and the Migos had a solid run together during the height of the rap group's prominence. In addition to all the music they made, the Canadian rapper invited Offset, Quavo, and TakeOff to join his "Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour" in 2018. The tour supported Drake's fifth studio album, Scorpion, and Migos' third studio album, Culture II. They collectively brought in over $103 million after the tour wrapped in November 2018.
Of course, Offset also discussed his new album KIARI on the podcast. The album comes with 18 tracks and includes collaborations with YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Gunna, Ty Dolla $ign, John Legend, YFN Lucci and more.
