Bay Area native Karri is back with some new tunes after earning co-signs from Drake and more.

On Friday, August 22, the 22-year-old crooner released two new songs, "fmyx/dirty diana," via Bankrol Records/New 11 Records. The first track, produced by P-Lo, has Karri reminiscing about an old flame and all the things they used to do together between the sheets. The San Francisco-born artist continues to flex his smooth vocals on "dirty diana," in which he professes his love for a girl named Diana. To celebrate the 2-pack's release, Karri released the music video for "fmyx" featuring behind-the-scenes footage of him recording the track and his recent shows.

“I don’t really base my music on my own experiences," Karri says about his music. "I hear older people talk about their lives, and I’ll take pieces of that and put it into a song."

Karri has been gaining plenty of attention for his “Lo N Slo” sound. His breakthrough single "3 AM in Oakland" went viral overnight and caught the attention of Drake’s right-hand man, Chubbs, who signed him to his PFL imprint. Soon after, Karri was earning co-signs from Drizzy himself along with other major artists like Lil Baby and Kehlani. The Filipino-American artist impressed fans with his debut project Late Nite Slider Music last year. The EP holds six tracks, including "Oakland Pt. 2" — a continuation of his hit song.
