Rapper T-Hood allegedly beat up his girlfriend Kelsie Frost in the months leading up to his murder, and one of the attacks was caught on camera.
On Friday, August 15, TMZ shared video taken from T-Hood and Frost's apartment, which appears to show the late rapper attacking Frost in their bedroom. In the soundless, black-and-white surveillance footage, you can see T-Hood, born Tevin Hood, pacing around while he seemingly speaks to Frost while she's lying in bed. Towards the end of the clip, Hood lunges at her and appears to try and strangle her. The video was recorded earlier this year, and sources close to the Forst family say it's not the first time.
In addition to the footage, TMZ also published photos of Kelsie following a separate violent instance involving Hood. You can see several injuries, including scratches on her face and a busted lip. The photos were taken in November 2024 and are now being examined by investigators.
T-Hood was shot last Friday, August 8, at his home in Snellville, Georgia, during an alleged "domestic dispute." According to a source, Kelsie's brother, 24-year-old Ky Frost, lives in the same building as the couple and heard a violent commotion in their apartment. Ky reportedly went inside the unit to help his sister. During an altercation between Ky and Hood, a fatal gunshot was fired. The rapper passed away later at a nearby hospital.
The Gwinnett County Police Department recently identified the son of Kirk and Rasheeda Frost as the lead suspect in the case. However, police are now investigating the incident as a potential self-defense case. They are currently reviewing video footage that was recorded on the night of the shooting. As of this report, no arrests have been made.
