Beyoncé is officially an Emmy Award winner.
On Tuesday (August 12), the Television Academy unveiled 2025 Emmy winners from its juried categories, including animation, costume, emerging media program, and motion design. Bey took home the award for Outstanding Costumes for Variety, Nonfiction, or Reality Programming for her costume design work on her 2024 NFL halftime show performance dubbed the Beyoncé Bowl, per Entertainment Weekly.
The 35-time Grammy winner nabbed her first Emmy alongside fellow Beyoncé Bowl costume designer Shiona Turini, assistant costume designers Erica Rice and Molly Peters, costume supervisor Chelsea Staebell, and head of workroom Timothy White.
Juried categories are screened by a panel of professionals who deliberate and discuss the merits of awarding the Emmy. Awards for these categories will be presented at the Creative Arts Emmys, a separate event from the primetime ceremony that will take place on September 6 and 7.
Beyonce's halftime show has also been nominated for Outstanding Variety Special, which will be presented during the Primetime Emmys. Bey also has a chance to win an Emmy for Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special. Tuesday's announcement puts Beyoncé just halfway towards EGOT status.
The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards are set to air live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on September 14.
