Beyoncé is paying tribute to Malcolm-Jamal Warner, the former “Cosby Show” actor who died of an accidental drowning in Costa Rica.

On Tuesday (July 21), the singer featured a special dedication to Warner on the homepage of her Beyonce.com website. The tribute included a black-and-white childhood photo of Warner alongside a caption highlighting his contribution to “television history.”

"Rest in power, Malcolm-Jamal Warner," the caption reads. "Thanks for being a big part of our shared television history. You will be missed."

On Sunday (July 20), Warner, 54, died of accidental drowning while swimming in the ocean during a vacation in Costa Rica.

“Regarding the preliminary investigation, the victim appears to have entered the sea and was apparently swept away by a current,” Costa Rica officials said in a statement. “The man was rescued by bystanders and taken to shore, where he received treatment from the Costa Rican Red Cross. However, he was declared lifeless at the scene.”Celebrity tributes have continued to pour in after news broke of Warner’s death.

Warner's role as Theodore Huxtable on The Cosby Show earned him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in 1986. The actor also starred in Malcolm & Eddie, Reed Between the Lines, The Resident, and 9-1-1.

Celebrity tributes have continued to pour in amid news of Warner's death.

Holly Robinson Peete, whose father wrote and produced The Cosby Show, shared a photo of herself and Warner on Instagram on Monday (July 21).

"He was always gracious, kind, funny, and gave the absolute best hugs," she wrote. "Even if you never met him — you feel like you knew him. That's how universally loved he was."

Geoffrey Owens, who played Elvin Tibideaux on The Cosby Show, said he was "speechless" over Warner's death.

"Malcolm was a lovely man; a sweet and sensitive soul. I respected him for many reasons, including the fact that he genuinely loved the act of creation," he said. "He had the mind of an actor and the heart of a musician."
