Saweetie has joined forces with rising Mexican rapper Santa Fe Klan for a collaboration her fans would never expect.
On Friday, June 27, Sante Fe Klan and the "Icy" bombshell dropped their brand-new song "Locos." The bilingual track, produced by D.A. Got That Dope and George Prajin, is a raw banger rapped in both Spanish and English that digs deep into the chaos of a complicated relationship. The couple knows they're too toxic for one another, but they're too enamored with each other to part ways. Saweetie and Sante Fe Klan bring the concept to life in the official music video directed by Seb Espino and Nolan Rugg.
“I’ve been a fan of Santa Fe Klan’s music for a minute, and we’ve been looking for the right way to collaborate,” Saweetie said about the record. “‘Locos’ is one of those magnetic records that pulls you in — it’s passionate, and it captures the chaos of a real ride-or-die romance.”
Sante Fe Klan's new song with Saweetie is just the latest of many crossover collaborations he's released recently. Earlier this month, he delivered his single with Rick Ross, “Diamonds." Prior to that, the rising lyricist has joined forces with other top-notch artists including Snoop Dogg, Nicky Jam, Steve Aoki and Peso Pluma.
