President Donald Trump ripped a FOX News poll that claimed Americans that showed a slightly favorable reaction to his handling of the border but weaker support in other areas.

"The Crooked FoxNews Polls got the Election WRONG, I won by much more than they said I would, and have been biased against me for years," Trump wrote on his Truth Social account Thursday (June 19). "They are always wrong and negative. It’s why MAGA HATES FoxNews, even though their anchors are GREAT. This has gone on for years, but they never change the incompetent polling company that does their work. Now a new FoxNews poll comes out this morning giving me a little more than 50% at the Border, and yet the Border is miraculously perfect, NOBODY WAS ABLE TO COME IN LAST MONTH. 60,000 people came in with Sleepy Joe in the same month last year. I hate FAKE pollsters, one of the Worst, but Fox will never change their discredited pollster!"

The survey, which was released on Wednesday (June 18), showed that a majority 53% approved Trump's handling of border security and 46% disapproved. The president, however, was reported to have an approval below 50% in several other areas including immigration (46%), foreign policy (42%), economy (40%) and inflation (34%).

Trump has publicly criticized FOX News over what he perceives as unfair coverage of his second term, targeting FOX Corp. founder and chair Rupert Murdoch, a longtime donor to the Republican party, and his other media properties including the Wall Street Journal and the New York Post.

Trump does, however, frequently grant interviews with FOX News anchors and reporters and selected several former personalities to serve in his cabinet including Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
