Atlanta Dream center Brittney Griner denied she called Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark "f**king white girl" during a heated exchange last month.

“I remember fouling out, being mad,” Griner said via Outkick's Dan Zakscheske on Sunday (June 15) prior to her team's 89-56 win against the Washington Mystics. "I really can't remember what I said, honestly."

Griner later denied she said "f**king white girl" when asked specifically by Zakscheske, claiming she would never use the term.

“I know it wasn’t that because I wouldn’t use that type of language,” Griner said.

Zakscheske suggested he could show Griner the video to refresh her memory, but the center claimed it still wouldn't decipher what she actually said.

Griner finished the May 22 loss to the Fever with five points, seven rebounds and one block in 25 minutes of play. Clark recorded 32 points, nine assists and eight rebounds during Saturday's (June 14) win against the defending WNBA champion New York Liberty, her first game back since suffering a quad injury during her team's May 24 loss to the Liberty.
