Eazy-E's son plans to revive his late father through the power of AI.

During an interview TMZ published on Tuesday, May 13, Lil Eazy-E recalled the moment when an AI-generated version of his pops spoke to him. He admitted he was a little skeptical about reviving his dad using the advanced technology. However, after getting to know the team at The Ace Industries, the 41-year-old artist said he has opened his mind to using AI not only to regenerate the N.W.A. rapper but also develop projects that he had always dreamed of doing with his dad: a movie and a collaborative album.

“I actually just got a sample of him talking to me," Lil Eazy-E said. "It made my mind go another route with the possibilities we can do with AI. I look at it as doing something special movie wise. I look at it as doing something special audio wise."

“I have a project I’ve been dreaming about doing and it simultaneously tells you the story of his life and my life," he continued. "AI would be the best way of doing that. I have a partner, Ace Industries, that helped me build it and he sent me a couple of samples and it was touching, he was actually talking to me.”

Eazy-E was the founding member of N.W.A., the West Coast group that helped revolutionize gangsta rap. After he went solo, the Compton native was diagnosed with HIV/AIDS in February 1995. He passed away from the disease a month later. His final solo album Str8 off tha Streetz of Mutha***kkin Compton was released in 1996.
