Lizzo Struts To The Polls, Casts Her Vote In Cute Ballot-Drop Video

Lizzo has cast her ballot for the 2020 election!

On Wednesday (October 29), the 32-year-old singer, who has been campaigning for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, completed her civic duty by dropping off her ballot ahead of election day on Tuesday (November 3), and she did so in style, rocking an American flag crop top, white denim shorts, sparkly Doc Martens and, of course, her new red locks.

"I VOTED. This is my 3rd time voting in my whole life. When you think about how few and far in between that is it really puts things into perspective," Lizzo captioned an Instagram video that showed her strutting to the ballot dropbox before sliding her ballot in and having a post-voting twerking session. "I believe this is the beginning of making voting ACCESSIBLE and FAIR so that this country reflects its people. To all my activists, thank you for your constant organizing & service. Let’s get our vote in so we can get back to the good fight for true liberty and justice for ALL. Have YOU voted yet?"

The "Truth Hurts" singer additionally shared a stunning Instagram photo of herself posing in her voting outfit. "Auntie Sam realness," she captioned the shot. "RECLAIMING MY TIME MY COUNTRY MY RIGHTS."

Earlier this week, Lizzo took to social media to debut her now fiery red, curly hairdo. "Y’all can’t handle red Lizzo🦑 hair by @theshelbyswain," Lizzo captioned an Instagram video that showed her flaunting her new look while wearing a black Savage x Fenty bra and panty set.

Celebrity hairstylist Shelby Swain, who Lizzo credited for her red locks, previously opened up about working with the 32-year-old singer, telling E! News in June 2019, "Lizzo normally tells me an idea and I always run with it. Like, 'Shelby, I wanna wear all wood grain!' So I'm like, 'Well then, let's paint your hair wood grain too!' We like to play."
