2 Things You Need to Do as Soon as You Get in the Car to Avoid COVID

The car may be the safest mode of transportation amid the coronavirus pandemic.

A biology professor at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth told Good Morning America this week that getting into a car is one of the riskiest things to do during the pandemic.

According to the CDC, the two things to do when you get in the car:

1. Turn off the recirculation button.

2. Lower your car windows for optimal ventilation.

In addition, the CDC recommends wearing a mask, practicing hand hygiene after the ride as well as avoiding touching surfaces.
