Billie Lourd honored her late mother, Carrie Fisher, on the one-year anniversary of her death by visiting the Northern Lights.
The young actress posted a photo of herself at the phenomenon Wednesday (Dec. 27) explaining its connection to her mom: “My momby had an otherworldly obsession with the northern lights, but I never got to see them with her.”
“We journeyed to northern Norway to see if we might ‘see the heavens lift up her dark skirts and flash her dazzling privates across [our] unworthy irises.’ And she did. I love you times infinity,” she continued.
Fisher died December of 2016 due to cardiac arrest. She was 60 years old. The actress, however, still appears in the recently released Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which wrapped filming prior to her passing.
